About C.GEN

Who is C.GEN?

The C.GEN Group was established in 2007 and is led by a group of managers who are highly experienced in the power industry.

Developing and investing in low or zero carbon power generation projects, the C.GEN Group is also developing wind turbine projects; currently it has one site under development in the Belgium port of Zeebrugge and it is also identifying wind farm opportunities in the UK.

The C.GEN Group is well-connected to the C.RO Ports Group, owners of the Humber Sea Terminal (now C.RO Ports Killingholme Limited), adjacent to where C.GEN proposes to build its Killingholme power project. The UK arm of the C.GEN group will manage the project in Killingholme.

Project Benefits

It is anticipated that the project will bring many economic benefits to the area during the construction phase and thereafter.

The construction of the plant will create up to 1600 jobs and local businesses will also be able to bid for contracts. Local businesses in the area will also benefit from the 1600 workers using local amenities. There will be up to 140 permanent jobs created once the plant is in operation.
